Epson Stylus SX200
The Epson Stylus SX200 is the multifunction device that enables you to print, scan and copy using a compact device for use with or without PC connectivity. The device itself is very affordable as are its running costs in terms of the price of the printer cartridges. A set of Epson SX200 ink cartridges can be picked up for under £30 and compatible Epson ink cartridges can be found for half that. There are a number of people who say that using compatible inks will damage your printer but this has no basis in fact, the facts are that they cost half the price and print the same number of pages as the originals. Whether using compatible or originals the quality of print produced by the SX200 is excellent, text documents are always sharp even with small fonts sizes and graphics are great to. At this price you wouldn’t expect the SX200 to be able to print photos (at least not very good ones) but it can and it produces some excellent results bringing life to even the most lifeless photograph. The built-in A4 flat bed scanner is also good with some nice features, like OCR which enables you to scan a page of printed text and turn it into an editable document with something like Microsoft word. The copier is one of the features of the Sx200 that works without the need for a PC to be connected and it also has some great features, the one touch copying facility is especially convenient when you need to copy something in a rush. Built quality of the device is good and feels like it should stand up to trails of everyday use.
